Who we are

OfflinePDF is a browser-based PDF tool suite available at offlinepdf.io. We provide PDF processing tools that run entirely in your browser without uploading your files to any server.

Your files

All PDF processing on OfflinePDF happens locally in your browser using JavaScript. Your files are never transmitted to our servers or any third party. They never leave your device.

You can verify this yourself by opening your browser's developer tools, going to the Network tab, and watching what happens when you process a file — you will see zero file upload requests.

What data we collect

We collect the minimum data necessary to operate the service:

• Email address — collected when you sign up for a Pro subscription or sign in. We use this to verify your subscription status and send you account-related emails.
• Stripe customer data — when you subscribe to Pro, Stripe processes your payment. We store your Stripe customer ID and subscription ID to manage your account. We never see or store your card details.
• Usage data — free plan usage (number of daily operations) is tracked locally in your browser using localStorage. This data never leaves your device.

What data we do not collect

• We do not collect your PDF files or their contents
• We do not track what you do with our tools
• We do not use advertising tracking or analytics cookies
• We do not sell your data to any third party
• We do not build advertising profiles

Third-party services

We use a small number of third-party services to operate OfflinePDF:

• Stripe — payment processing for Pro subscriptions. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data. We never see your card number.
• Supabase — database that stores your email and subscription status. Data is stored securely and never shared.
• Cloudflare — hosting and content delivery. Cloudflare may log request metadata (IP address, timestamp) as part of normal web infrastructure operation.
• Google OAuth — if you choose to sign in with Google, Google's privacy policy applies to that authentication process. We only receive your email address from Google.

Cookies and local storage

We use browser localStorage (not cookies) to store your daily operation count and Pro status cache on the free plan. This data stays on your device and is never transmitted to our servers. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser's local storage.

We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.

Data retention

We retain your email and subscription data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription and request deletion, we will remove your data from our database within 30 days. To request deletion, email us at the address below.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to processing of your data
• Export your data in a portable format

Children's privacy

OfflinePDF is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify subscribers of material changes by email. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
